Below are a set of pictures showing the outer bag as well as detailed pictures of the Attends regular underwear in size extra large. The first picture is of the front of the bag that features a drawing of the underwear but we fell it is not a good representation of the actual product. In each bag are 14 diapers for waists 58 inches to 68 inches (147-173 cm). Attends recommends a weight range between 210 and 250 lbs. In our review we found that for nearly every measurement for fit these were very average when compared to other brands. There were no significant dimensions that made these unique.
The picture above shows the back of the bag that does a good job of describing the adult underwear. These are labeled as moderate absorbency incontinence underwear and are designed for light bladder leakage with occasional loss of moderate amounts when bladder is full. Other features are breathable and stretchable outer clothlike material that feels more like underwear than a diaper. Like most brands these also feature tearaway sides.
The UPC for the Attends Moderate absorbency briefs is 086679368528 and the product code is APV40. In the picture above this information was blocked by a label. Contact information is also provided by calling the Attends hotline at 1-800-428-8363 or 1-800-4-ATTENDS. Below has instructions showing how to apply the incontinence underwear. Here they describe the orientation stating that the colored stitching indicates the back of the brief.
This is a side profile picture of the Attends diaper showing that it is relatively thin. In our testing we found that these are slightly thinner than other brands on average when measuring thickness while folded. In the picture below you can see size information printed across the brief. This is very handy info if you store these after removing them from a bag.
Above and below are unfolded pictures of the Attends underwear. You can see several inches of elastic banding along the top waistline that helps keep a snug fit which is important in stopping leaks as well as providing a comfortable fit. In the picture below there are 7 faint blue lines that indicate the back of the diaper. We found these are easy to see in a bright room but very hard to see in a dimly lit one. Also shown are the tear away sides that make it very easy to remove when it’s time for a change.
Finally, we provide pictures of the opened diaper showing the absorbent padding as well as the outer shells construction. In our testing the absorbent padding was significantly narrower than other brands. The padding was much thicker than average in the crotch area but measured very thin in the front and back areas. One unusual thing to note is that there are no standing leg gathers to stop leaks from happening. For that reason, we cannot recommend these for overnight use or when a user rests of their side.
